Affirming Integrative Psychotherapy
Elizabeth diGiacomantonio
she/her
I’m a licensed psychotherapist and board-certified creative arts therapist.
I became a therapist after a long career in design and production, where
I witnessed the therapeutic value of collaboration and self-expression. My approach to therapy focuses on the client relationship and is deeply rooted in liberation and feminist psychology. The majority of my clients are creative adults who struggle with perfectionism, feel stuck, and want a greater sense of personal and professional fulfillment.
I offer in-person therapy at my Kingston office
as well as telehealth therapy services
across New York State, making compassionate care accessible
wherever you are.

Specialties:
I utilize an integrative blend of evidence-based therapy techniques, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), Gestalt therapy, and somatic approaches. I also incorporate the additional tools of art, play, and mindfulness practices for clients interested in exploring creative expression.
I hold a master’s degree in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute, where I was awarded the Pratt Circle Award for academic excellence. In addition to my work as a therapist, I also maintain an active artistic practice, exhibiting work in galleries throughout the country. I draw inspiration from experiences in my previous career, nature, and my own creative practice to create a dynamic and supportive environment for healing.
